"Hi! I'm Carol Haby, Registered Dental Assistant. I'm very proud to be part of the Lakehills Dental Center staff. I have been with the Lakehills Dental Center since it's beginning in 2000. I am a member of the Texas Dental Assistants Association and also have a CPR and Pit & Fissure Sealant certifications. My husband and I have lived at Medina Lake since 1992. For the past several years, I have enjoyed working with Dr. Rise' Martin, DDS, and look forward to many more years of serving you and caring for your dental needs."

"My name is Jill Tarr. I reside in the beautiful hill country area of Lakehills. I have been employed at the Lakehills Dental Center since 2004. My career in dentistry began in 1974 with many years of experience in all aspects of dentistry. I'm an RDA with CPR and Pit & Fissure Sealant certification. I have been a member of the Texas Dental Assistants Association since 2004. Our office has up to date technology with a warm and friendly environment and experienced staff. I'm looking forward to caring for your dental needs.

"Hi! My name is Maggie Mahar. I’ve been working in pediatric and general dentistry for four years. As a Registered Dental Assistant, I am certified in CPR, Coronal Polishing, Nitrous Oxide, X-rays, and Pit/Fissure Sealants. I have lived in Bandera County all of my life. It is a blessing to work with Dr. Martin and be part of the Lakehills Dental Team. I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you with your dental care needs."

Dr. Martin held the position of President of the Texas Section 7th International College of Dentist in 2010. She organized the Great Expectations Mentoring Program at the UTHSC Dental School in San Antonio in 2009. Dr. Martin also served on, and as, President of 2001-2010 AAWD Executive Board of Directors - Smiles for Success Foundation

Dr. Martin was President of the San Antonio District Dental Society 2008-2009 and held every office prior. She continues to provide leadership and mentorship.

Dr. Martin served on the 2005-2009 Board of Directors of the 7,500 member Texas Dental Association (TDA).

Dr. Martin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from St. Edward's University in Austin in 1979, her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1985 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School; and a Master of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio in 1997.

Dr. Martin participates in all three levels of the organized dentistry tripartite system, including the local San Antonio District Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association and the national American Dental Association . She has held many positions since 1985.

General Dentistry
